Autodesk is in the process of releasing it's 2012 product line. CSG has received our Revit Architecture 2012 suite and has incorporated the 2012 versions into our webinar series.
Are you familiar with Bluebeam's "Studio" function? If you're working within Revit, you can generate a PDF of a particular view and open a "Studio" session, where you can invite project team members, owners, or clients to view the PDFs within the online "Studio". CSG will incorporate this functionality into our Revit Model Sharing webinar series.

Wireshark User? Try Riverbed's Cascade Pilot !
|

 If you are an existing Wireshark user (formerly known as Ethereal), have you looked at adding Riverbed's Cascade Pilot? This product, formerly known as CAD Pilot Console, can connect to one or more Steelhead appliances and instantly create a fully distributed, easy to manage packet capture solution. Cascade Pilot is a fully-featured network analysis, visualization and reporting product that integrates with Wireshark.
Cascade Pilot includes collection of Wireshark BPF and Display Filters, and using the visual selection and drill-down features of Cascade Pilot, the "send to Wireshark" feature exports only the selected traffic for deep packet inspection by Wireshark.

Tech Talk: RiOS 6.5 supported on xx20 series !
|

The Riverbed Optimization software (RiOS) version 6.5 was released on March 17th. Despite most of the xx20 series devices no longer eligible for new software support beyond March 5, 2011, including the 520, 1020, 1520, 2020, 100, and 200, Riverbed is supporting version 6.5 on those appliances. Log in to the support center for a list of compatibility and download your software !
Riverbed Maintenance: Did you know that your maintenance includes technical support from Riverbed, software upgrades and updates, and most importantly, repair/replacement of your device in the event of failure. Most customers carry Gold level support, which includes next business day replacement of the device, or part (for larger appliances). Don't let your maintenance lapse. Without maintenance, there is no repair/replacement service !!
