CSG is announcing a new program that will allow two companies without Steelhead appliances to rent an appliance from us for a Revit Model Sharing project. This program has a very limited number of Steelhead appliances available, so don't wait ! We need your feedback on programs like this !!!!!
We also wanted to provide an update on the new offerings from Riverbed on their Cloud acceleration technology. Join us Feb 21st for an informational webinar.
The Riverbed trade up program has been quite successful. This program remains available and provides you with a credit on your old xx10 and xx20 series appliances, when moving to the current platform, the 50 series.

Steelhead-Project Rental Program
|
|
CSG is pleased to announce a new program to assist our A/E/C firms to take advantage of Riverbed's WAN optimization without having to purchase your own Steelheads up front. The Steelhead rental program provides your company, and your Partner firm, with a Steelhead appliance that can optimize the sharing of your Revit model between your two firms. Hardware for this program is very limited. During the hard economic times, more partnering between firms is occuring, to maximize the expertise of the two firms to complete the project. CSG's new program provides your two firms with a monthly rental charge for the Steelhead you'll need. When your project is done, simply return it. This program will allow you a manageable monthly cost associated with your project, and serve as a catalyst in procuring your own Riverbed hardware, once you have built up some success with sharing Revit models. Steelhead Mobile clients can also be utilizied with the Steelhead Rental Program.

Riverbed Trade Up Program
|
|
The Riverbed trade up program is now in full steam. With the xx20 series devices all reaching end of life status (including the Steelhead 100 and 200 devices), now is the time to refresh your Riverbed hardware with the new, xx50 series and get a trade in credit for your old hardware.
Riverbed has partnered with M-Cubed, to collect and recycle your old hardware. Once your old hardware is received back by M-Cubed, a credit for any unused maintenance you may have on the old hardware will be credited to you.
Previously retired hardware, the xx10 series devices, are also eligible for this Trade Up Program.
The end of life schedule includes:
Steelhead 100, 200:
End of New Version support of RiOS: March 2, 2011
End of Hardware support: March 2, 2014
Steelhead 520, 1020, 1520, 2020:
End of New Version support of RiOS: February 6, 2011
End of Hardware support: February 6, 2014
